Why use Smart Dimensions?

Dimensions break larger chunks into smaller pieces allowing you to slice and dice in your data. Smart dimensions help you ensure that this is made in a consistent and coherent way. When set up, Smart Dimensions will automatically set up dimensions on your data making sure that when transactions are created dimensions will follow.

Do you use other apps or have per-tenant extensions?

In the setup for Smart Dimensions, it is possible to choose any table in Business Central that is using Standard Dimensions, that includes tables from other apps or per-tenant extensions and set up so that all data created from the table will be set up with a Standard Dimension. This way you make sure that when transactions are created from this table dimensions will follow.

What about the costs?
